This is the last Will and Testament of me Ann Allchin of East Malling
in the County of Kent Spinster made published and declared the 19th day
of February in the year of our Lord 1825. First I do constitute and appoint
my two sisters Margaret Allchin and Susanna Allchin joint Executors of
this my Will and I do desire to be decently buried by and at the discretion
of my said Executors also I do give and bequeath unto my sister Rachel
Luck the sum of one thousand and two hundred pounds of lawful British
money to and for her own use also I give and bequeath unto my nephews
William Henry Allchin of East Malling aforesaid surgeon and apothecary
and Thomas Allchin of Ditton in the said county of Kent miller the sum
of six hundred pounds a piece of like lawful money to and for their own
use which said several and respective legacies I desire and direct to
be paid within three months next after my decease by my said Executors
also I give and bequeath unto my said sisters Margaret Allchin and Susanna
Allchin one thousand and eight hundred pounds of like lawful money upon
the trust to and for the use and purposes after mentioned that is to say
upon trust that they the said Margaret Allchin and Susanna Allchin and
the survivor of them her heirs and administrators shall and do continue
the same at interest upon the present or like securities paid for want
or in default thereof shall and do put and place out the same at interest
upon real or Government securities or parliamentary funds and from time
to time to call in and receive the said Trust money and again to lend
place out and invest the same upon other like securities as often as there
shall be occasion and they my said Trustees shall think fit and as to
for and concerning one thousand two hundred pounds part of the said Trust
money or sum of one thousand and eight hundred pounds upon Trust that
they my said Trustees shall and do pay the dividends interest and produce
thereof unto my brother Henry Allchin and his assigns for and during the
term of his natural life and from and after his decease then upon trust
to pay assign and transfer the said one thousand two hundred pounds Trust
money unto the said William Henry Allchin and Thomas Allchin and also
their brother George Allchin the three children of the said Henry Allchin
in equal parts shares and proportions and as to for and concerning six
hundred pounds the
.. and remaining part of the said Trust money
or sum of one thousand eight hundred pounds upon Trust that they my said
Trustees and the survivor of them her Executors or Administrators do and
shall pay to or otherwise
and suffer my said nephew the said
George Allchin to have receive and take the interest dividends and profits
thereof when and as the same shall become due and payable for and during
the term of his natural life and from and after the decease of the said
George Allchin upon Trust to pay assign and transfer the said principal
Trust money with all dividends interest and produce due thereon unto all
and every the child and children of the said George Allchin lawfully to
be begotten equally to be divided between them share and share alike at
their respective ages of twenty one years and in case any or either of
such children shall happen to die under the age of twenty one years leaving
lawful issue then the share or respective shares of him her or them so
dying to be paid to his her or their respective children But in case any
one or more of such children shall happen to die under the age of twenty
one years without leaving lawful issue the share or respective shares
of him her or them so dying as last aforesaid as well share and share
alike and their respective issue or children taking receiving and accruing
as original to be paid to the survivor or survivors of them and the issue
of such of them as shall be dead leaving issue as and when their respective
shares shall be payable such children (if more than one
..) the
part or share which his her or their parent or parents if living would
have taken But in case all or every such children shall happen to die
under the age of twenty one years without leaving issue of his her or
their body or bodies lawfully begotten or if there be no issue of the
said George Allchin then upon Trust to pay assign and transfer the said
last mentioned Trust money unto the said William Henry Allchin and Thomas
Allchin their Executors administrators and assigns in equal parts shares
and proportions Also I give and bequeath all the Rest and Residue of my
ready money and securities for Money household goods and implements of
household debts goods chattels and personal estate whatsoever and wheresoever
not hereinbefore by me otherwise disposed of my just debts the aforesaid
legacies funeral and testamentary expenses being first paid and satisfied
unto my said sisters Margaret Allchin and Susanna Allchin equally to be
divided between them share and share alike provided always and I do hereby
declare that my said Trustees and Executors shall be answerable only for
such monies as they shall respectively actually receive by virtue of this
my Will and with or for no less which shall happen to the said Trust money
or any part thereof by reason of any security or securities taken in pursuance
of this my Will so as such loss shall happen without their wilful default
and neither of them my said Trustees and Executors shall be answerable
for the acts deeds receipts or defaults of the other of them but each
of them only for her own acts deeds receipts or defaults and it shall
and may be lawful to and for my said Trustees and Executors by and out
of the monies which shall come to their respective hands by virtue of
this my Will to retain to and reimburse themselves respectively all costs
and expenses which they or either of them shall incur or be put unto in
the execution of the Trusts hereinbefore contained or in relation thereto
and I do revoke all former Wills by me at any time heretofore made and
do declare this to be my last Will and Testament In witness whereof I
the said Ann Allchin the Testatrix have to this my last Will and Testament
contained in three sheets of paper set my hand and seal to wit my hand
to the first two sheets and my hand and seal to this third and last sheet

sealed published and declared by the said Ann Allchin the Testatrix as
and for her last Will and Testament in the presence of us who in her presence
at her request and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names
as witness thereto Jas Selby Silas Morton
Proved at London 23rd July 1825 before the Judge by the oaths of Margaret
Allchin and Susanna Allchin Spinsters the sisters the Executrixes to whom
admin was granted being first sworn by
